Oakland Bay Bridge Bypass Structure San Francisco, CA

Designed multiple ~150-tall temporary support towers, lateral bracing, and foundation systems in order to support ~500,000 lbs. each, during construction of new Yerba Buena Island Bridge bypass structures.  Two primary systems were used; one consisting of Super Shore-X towers, while the second was a custom fabricated modular steel tower system.  Performed numerous site inspections to approval field modifications and design custom fixes, as well as work closely with CDOT to obtain approval on all submittals. 

Wilderness Lodge Disney World, FL

Designed scaffold shoring support for the heavy timber trusses of the hotel porte-cochere to allow for retrofit of the existing structural framing.  Shoring was coordinated with hotel operations so hotel could remain open and fully operational during construction.  This included providing traffic opening so cars could drive through the shoring and have access to the outdoor reception desk. 

Klamath River Bridge Humboldt County, CA

Designed custom steel support towers to temporarily hold bridge deck in place, as permanent concrete bents had begun to slide down hill.  After temporary supports were installed, additional designs were prepared for various support, access, demolition, and formwork systems to allow for reconstruction of concrete support foundations and towers. 

Hardscrabble Creek Bridge Del Norte County, CA

After completion of falsework and foundation designs allowed for placement of new concrete box girder bridge, a lifting and transport system was developed to allow for raising and relocating of bridge.  The supports consisted of transportable bents that lifted bridge from it temporary foundation, rolled horizontally ~50, before setting it down on its permanent abutment. 

Wakefield Building Oakland, CA

Due to severe earthquake damage, hired to design structural shoring system to support six-story 1920s concrete building to allow for removal, repair and replacement of major sections of primary structural columns at the bottom floors of the building.
